Baseball Recap: Chatham Comes Up Short

Chatham managed to slip by William Campbell the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cavaliers lost 13-4 to the Generals on Wednesday. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Generals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Chatham is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. As for William Campbell, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Coincidentally, Chatham and William Campbell will both be playing Appomattox County the next time they take the field. The Cavaliers will head out to face the Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Generals will host them at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
