Preview: Milton Panthers vs. Navarre Raiders
Milton is 1-9 against Navarre since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Milton Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Navarre Raiders at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Milton has three straight victories, Navarre has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Tuesday, Milton beat Central 45-32.
Navarre suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They were outmatched by Niceville at home and fell 63-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Navarre has suffered against Niceville since December 11, 2018.
Milton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season. As for Navarre, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Milton couldn't quite finish off Navarre in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 and fell 39-37. Can Milton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
