Big East (9 Man) recap Oct. 3, 2012

Chester and Alcester-Hudson played the most hotly contested game in Big East (9 Man) this week, with Chester eventually emerging with a 35-30 victory. Austin Opdahl threw for 130 yards and one touchdown and ran for 146 yards in the win.

The Flyers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on the Cubs. Opdahl in the win.

Chester's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Josh Curtis helped Chester's passing attack out by catching one ball for 33 yards.

Cole Acheson was the best wideout in the league this week as Brad Benson's team beat Alcester-Hudson. Acheson tallied two receptions for 68 yards.

Chester's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Flyers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Opdahl has thrown for 565 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Curtis has seven catches for 168 yards. Opdahl also leads the league in rushing with 744 yards.
