The Palmer Ridge Bears will head out on the road to take on the Discovery Canyon Thunder at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Doherty on Saturday as Discovery Canyon made off with a 12-1 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Discovery Canyon considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Ty Peters was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). Peters was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Cole Teltschik was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and a double while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Nate Singleton, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Palmer Ridge's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-12. As for Discovery Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster.
