Basketball Recap: Sherman Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Sherman, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 78-64 win over the Bishop Lynch Friars on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bearcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 443rd, while the Friars are ranked 63rd).

Sherman pushed their record up to 7-9 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for Bishop Lynch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.
