Baseball Recap: Caldwell Academy Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Caldwell Academy's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on The O'Neal School Falcons with a sharp 25-4 win. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jack Pearman looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Brett Bullins was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Cal Hubbard, who scored four runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
