PikeView won the last time they faced Nicholas County and things went their way on Friday too. The PikeView Panthers secured a 55-49 W over the Nicholas County Grizzlies.

Nicholas County's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Miner, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. Miner has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Maverick Smith, who posted eight points and seven boards.

PikeView's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Nicholas County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. PikeView will head out to challenge Liberty at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. PikeView has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three matches. As for Nicholas County, they will take on Braxton County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
