Jezy Alcorn has led Chadron in steals on the season and she led the team again on Saturday. Alcorn dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 boards. The performance marked the most rebounds she has had since back in December of 2024. She has become a key player for Chadron: the team is 6-2 when she posts at least eight rebounds, but 5-8 otherwise.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cardinals take on the Bearcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alcorn has dominated as far as steals are concerned (she's averaged 2.4 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Bearcats have only allowed 0.71 per game this season.
