The third road contest was the charm for Olympia, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They came out on top against the South Kitsap Wolves by a score of 9-6 on Monday. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Tyler Trujillo was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Crass, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Trujillo wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Olympia kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. Olympia is a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Olympia's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for South Kitsap, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Olympia will challenge Sumner at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Kitsap, they will venture away from home to face off against Spanaway Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
