Basketball Recap: West Bend West Comes Up Short

West Bend West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 65-31 loss at the hands of the Port Washington Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 317th, while the Pirates are ranked 140th).

West Bend West's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Port Washington, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-6.

West Bend West will welcome Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Port Washington, they will head out to square off against Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hartford's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
