After a string of three wins, South Effingham's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Statesboro Blue Devils. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue Devils earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

South Effingham's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Statesboro, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coincidentally, South Effingham and Statesboro will both be playing Glynn Academy the next time they take the pitch. Statesboro will head out to face Glynn Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while South Effingham will host them at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th.
