Basketball Recap: Holgate Takes a Loss

Holgate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 58-37 to the Hicksville Aces. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aces apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Holgate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hicksville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Holgate and Liberty Center will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hicksville, they will venture away from home to challenge Edon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
