Basketball Recap: St. Anthony Comes Up Short

St. Anthony was the 75-36 winner over Cypress when they last played one another back in November of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Saints fell 53-49 to the Centurions on Wednesday. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Anthony's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cypress, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, St. Anthony won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Laguna Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 64.43 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Cypress, they will face off against Long Beach Poly at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
