Soccer Game Preview: Nevada vs. Ogden

The Nevada Cubs will venture away from home to take on the Ogden Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Ogden better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Nevada's game on Friday is any indication, that's when Nevada really gets things going. The Cubs were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over Perry. Nevada haven't had any issues with Perry recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Ogden kept a clean sheet against Carroll on Tuesday. They blew past the Tigers 8-0. The high-scoring effort was just what Ogden needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Nevada's win bumped their record up to 7-4-2. As for Ogden, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5-1.

Nevada took their win against Ogden in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cubs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
