Baseball Recap: Brookline Comes Up Short

If Brookline was feeling good fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Framingham on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 11-1 to the Weston Wildcats on Thursday.

Brookline saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Hoffman, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Hugh Bolinger also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Brookline's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Weston, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookline will welcome Boston Latin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Weston, they will host Northbridge at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Rams will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
