Mandarin easily dispatched Riverside last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Mandarin Mustangs fell just short of the Sandalwood Saints by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
John Brooks made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. Makarios Brown also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
