Mountain Ridge scored the most goals they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. While the 4-4 score might suggest a draw, it was the Herriman Mustangs who were credited with the victory. The Herriman Mustangs got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Mountain Ridge Sentinels' four. Mountain Ridge have struggled against Herriman recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Mountain Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Herriman, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Coming up, Mountain Ridge will square off against Salt Lake Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Herriman, they will face off against Corner Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Corner Canyon's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
