Softball Recap: St. Charles Comes Up Short

St. Charles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the Thomas Stone Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat St. Charles has suffered against Thomas Stone since April 9, 2021.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Thomas Stone, they moved to 2-8 with that win, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. St. Charles will take on rival La Plata at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Thomas Stone is set to face off against their familiar foe Calvert on Wednesday.
