Basketball Game Preview: Lansdowne Vikings vs. Eastern Tech Mavericks

The Lansdowne Vikings will venture away from home to challenge the Eastern Tech Mavericks at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Lansdowne lost 52-28 to North County on Monday.

Meanwhile, Eastern Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell to St. Paul's Girls 46-42.

Lansdowne's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Eastern Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Things could have been worse for Lansdowne, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 36-20 loss to Eastern Tech when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Lansdowne avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
