After losing to Arcadia the last time they met, St. Mary decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knights came out on top against the Titans by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

While St. Mary's might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Arcadia scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 18-25, 25-20.

Elana Clark paced St. Mary's offense, picking up 17 kills. Clark got some help from Layla Santa Cruz De La Cruz and her 25 assists. Finally, Clark was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Arcadia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-10.

St. Mary's has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Mesquite on the 22nd. As for Arcadia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Saguaro on the 22nd.
