Soccer Recap: Glenbrook South Takes a Loss

Glenbrook South fell victim to Verona and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Glenbrook South can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 90th in Illinois, while Verona are ranked 30th in Wisconsin).

Glenbrook South now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Verona, their win bumped their record up to 7-2-4.

Glenbrook South didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Glenwood on the 27th. As for Verona, they will challenge Madison Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
