Basketball Recap: Butler County Comes Up Short

Butler County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Glasgow Scotties. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Scotties apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Butler County's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Glasgow, with the victory, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11.

Butler County has already played their next game (against Fort Campbell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Glasgow will face off against Barren County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Barren County will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Glasgow surely won't give up without a fight.
