Basketball Recap: North Kansas City Takes a Loss

North Kansas City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Staley Falcons 78-37. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Falcons are ranked third).

North Kansas City's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Staley, the win was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-1.

North Kansas City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Staley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-43 victory against Park Hill South on the 11th.
