River Valley waltzed into their match on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They snuck past the Shelby Whippets with a 67-62 win. 67 seems to be a good number for the Vikings as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

River Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sawyer Weston, who went 8 of 15 on his way to 18 points and six assists. Chase Smith was another key player, putting up 15 points and eight rebounds.
