Basketball Recap: Pataula Charter Academy Panthers vs. Pelham Hornets

Pataula Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 65-23 loss at the hands of the Pelham Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-14 back in January.

Despite the loss, Pataula Charter Academy still got an impressive performance from Kelsie Tillman, who posted 16 points and three steals. Gracen Settles was another key player, putting up five points.

It was another big night for Ja'Kieria Frazier, who almost dropped a double-double on 30 points and nine steals for Pelham. That makes it three consecutive games in which Frazier has scored at least a third of Pelham's points. Another player making a difference was De'Asiayah Johnson, who went 5 of 12 to rack up 10 points and six steals.
