Palisades was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 70-64 heartbreaker at the hands of the Catasauqua Rough Riders. One positive for the Pirates, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Palisades' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blake Oglialoro, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Cook, who had 16 points and seven rebounds.

Palisades' defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Catasauqua, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Palisades will head out to challenge Southern Lehigh at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Catasauqua, they are taking a road trip to square off against Salisbury Township at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Catasauqua's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
