Basketball Recap: Agra Takes a Loss

Agra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss. They were dealt a 70-16 defeat at the hands of the Lomega Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 467th, while the Raiders are ranked 133rd).

Agra got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Levi Meidinger and Tevin Hutchinson, who each put up six points. Meidinger also led the team in rebounds with 12.

Agra's loss dropped their record down to 1-26. As for Lomega, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Agra does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lomega, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 78-56 victory against Cimarron on the 15th.
