Baseball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central lost against Nixa back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Eagles, falling 15-1.

Central dropped their record down to 9-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Nixa, their victory bumped their record up to 16-10.

Coming up, Central will venture away from home to square off against Waynesville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Nixa, they will challenge Ozark at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
