Volleyball Recap: Round Lake Comes Up Short

Round Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 37th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Antioch Sequoits. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sequoits this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18.

Round Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-28. As for Antioch, they have been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Round Lake has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Christian Life on the 16th. As for Antioch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Libertyville on the 16th.
