Volleyball Game Preview: Maine South Hawks vs. Nazareth Academy Roadrunners

The Maine South Hawks will take on the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners in a tournament on Saturday. Maine South will be strutting in after a win while Nazareth Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Maine South hadn't beaten Evanston on the road since May 18, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Hawks came out on top against the Wildkits by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Meanwhile, Nazareth Academy came up short against St. Patrick on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The Roadrunners have struggled against the Shamrocks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-21.

Maine South's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Nazareth Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.
