Lenape Valley barely beat Hopatcong the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots blew past the Chiefs 12-2 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 on Monday.

The win made it two in a row for Lenape Valley and bumps their season record up to 11-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Hopatcong, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Lenape Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-0 loss against Hackettstown on the 17th. Hopatcong does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
