Softball Recap: Hudson Falls Comes Up Short

Hudson Falls suffered their biggest defeat since April 27, 2025 on Wednesday. They lost 8-1 to the Queensbury Spartans. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Spartans since Wednesday.

Hudson Falls saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Willow Steele, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Hudson Falls' loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Queensbury, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hudson Falls is set to face off against their familiar foe Gloversville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Queensbury will take on rival Schuylerville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
