Ace Archer and Haven Heaton made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Archer struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Heaton tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Those six strikeouts gave Archer a new career-high. At bat, Archer scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Heaton scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Truitt Costine was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Logan Croft also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
