Basketball Recap: New Knoxville's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

Fort Recovery came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against New Knoxville, but Addi Albers wouldn't allow it. The New Knoxville Rangers took down the Fort Recovery Indians 38-21 on Thursday thanks in part to Albers, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of New Knoxville's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Lela Gottschalk, who posted three points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in steals (two).

New Knoxville's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16. As for Fort Recovery, they moved to 10-10 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

New Knoxville has already played their next contest, a 60-55 win against Waynesfield-Goshen on the 3rd. As for Fort Recovery, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 37-33 defeat against Celina on the 3rd.
