Basketball Recap: White House Comes Up Short + How To Watch

White House was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 71-42 loss at the hands of the White House-Heritage Patriots. The Blue Devils lost against the Patriots in their previous head to head back in December of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 60-54 score last time.

White House-Heritage was led to victory by Avery Coles and Jeffrey Whittaker. Coles went 11-for-17 on his way to 27 points and eight rebounds, while Whittaker shot 47% from the field to rack up 19 points along with seven boards and four steals. Those 19 points gave Whittaker a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Daniel Eden, who posted eight points.

White House's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for White House-Heritage, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White House will challenge East Robertson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for White House-Heritage, they will face off against Jo Byrns at 7:30 p.m. on December 3.
