Basketball Game Preview: Ross Little Giants vs. Columbian Tornadoes

The Ross Little Giants and the Columbian Tornadoes will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Ross has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Ross is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 72-29 stomp they got against Woodward. Given the Little Giants' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Polar Bears are ranked 656th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Columbian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 57-51 to Clay. The loss continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Ross' victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Columbian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
