Soccer Game Preview: Orange Park vs. Middleburg

The Orange Park Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Middleburg Broncos at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Orange Park's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Orange Park is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Paxon School For Advanced Studies on Friday. Orange Park fell just short of Paxon School For Advanced Studies by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Raiders haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, Middleburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Nease, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 434th, while the Panthers are ranked 147th).

Middleburg's loss dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for Orange Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2.
