Football Recap: Amherst Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Amherst kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 58-12 loss at the hands of the Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors. The Bulldogs lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 38-33 score last time.

Looking ahead, Amherst will square off against Christ the King Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kingdom Prep Academy, they will challenge Anton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
