The University Christian Christians will take on the North Florida Christian Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. North Florida Christian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on University Christian, who comes in off a win.
University Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Covenant School of Jacksonville by a score of 4-1.

Lukas Brougham tossed a big game, striking out 13 batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk). With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.8 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, University Christian's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mason McLeod, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That double was McLeod's first of the season.
Meanwhile, North Florida Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Leon, falling 12-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Brigs Sparkman was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Caden Cooper was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.
University Christian now has a winning record of 4-3. As for North Florida Christian, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
North Florida Christian's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: University Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .319. It's a different story for North Florida Christian, though, as they've only averaged .150. Will they be able to contain University Christian's hitters?
University Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against North Florida Christian when the teams last played back in March of 2023, sneaking past 9-8.
