Preview: Olympus Titans vs. East Leopards
The Olympus Titans will be playing in front of their home fans against the East Leopards at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
On Tuesday, Olympus came up short against Alta and fell 60-48.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Keily Trabanino, who scored 19 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Joss Baker, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
East suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 78-48 defeat at the hands of West. East was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-23.
Olympus' defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for East, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Olympus against East when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 79-23 win. With Olympus ahead 41-4 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
