Baseball Recap: Sanderson Comes Up Short

Sanderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broughton Capitals. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Capitals this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-2 defeat back in March.

Sanderson's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Broughton, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Sanderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Broughton, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against Cardinal Gibbons on the 28th.
