Football Recap: Morristown Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Morristown had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Waldron Mohawks on Saturday, falling 50-0.

Dylon Palmer threw for 26 yards on six of 12 attempts. Thane Cole was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards.

Coincidentally, Morristown and Waldron will both be playing Rock Creek Academy the next time they take the field. The Mohawks will host the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Yellow Jackets will host them at 5:00 p.m. on September 6.
