Softball Game Preview: West Sabine Tigers vs. Nacogdoches Dragons

The West Sabine Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Nacogdoches Dragons at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

West Sabine lost 14-5 to Jasper on Monday.

West Sabine saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenzy Bragg, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Nacogdoches' offense. They came up short against Latexo on Friday, falling 15-0. The Dragons just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Nacogdoches' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Sabine, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

West Sabine suffered a grim 11-2 defeat to Nacogdoches when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can West Sabine avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
