Volleyball Recap: West Central Area's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

After flying high against Breckenridge on Friday, West Central Area came back down to earth. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Parkers Prairie Panthers on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2018.

Leading Parkers Prairie to victory were Lillian Steidl and Player #10. Steidl had 12 digs and two aces, while Player #10 had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces Steidl has posted since back in September.

The loss snapped West Central Area's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 14-14 record. As for Parkers Prairie, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-4.

West Central Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Parkers Prairie, they will square off against Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
