Baseball Recap: Nanih Waiya Comes Up Short

Nanih Waiya suffered their biggest loss since March 20th on Monday. They lost 22-12 to the Eupora Eagles. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Caysen Dewberry made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Prewitt, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Nanih Waiya's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Eupora, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-9.

Looking ahead, Nanih Waiya will challenge Stringer at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Eupora does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
