Meanwhile, Academy of International Studies entered their tilt with Academy of Aerospace and Engineering on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Academy of International Studies' win came from a few key players Weaver will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lisa Weinberg, who had ten aces and seven digs. Weinberg is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Angie Zuluaga- Gonzalez, who had 23 digs.

Everything went Weaver's way against Academy of International Studies in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Weaver made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Beavers repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
