Volleyball Recap: Island Comes Up Short

After flying high against Waimea last Tuesday, Island came back down to earth. Island fell just short of the Kapa'a Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for Island in their meetings with Kapa'a: they've now lost three in a row.

Island's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Kapa'a, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Island will take on rival Kauai at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kapa'a is set to face off against their familiar foe Waimea at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
