Baseball Game Preview: Fairhope Pirates vs. Foley Lions

For the second straight game, Fairhope will face off against Foley. The Pirates are taking a road trip to challenge the Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games Fairhope has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Fairhope needed a bit of extra time to put away Foley. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lions, sneaking past 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pirates have posted since March 21st.

Will Sparks and Alex Herington did most of the damage at the plate: Sparks scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while Herington scored a run while going 2-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave Sparks a new career-high.
