Baseball Recap: Oakland Mills Comes Up Short

Oakland Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Wilde Lake Wildecats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildecats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Oakland Mills' loss dropped their record down to 0-16-1. As for Wilde Lake, the victory was their first at home, bumping their record up to 3-15.

Oakland Mills has already played their next matchup, a 25-9 win against Lansdowne on the 4th. As for Wilde Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-10 defeat against Western Tech & Environmental Science on the 4th.
