Basketball Recap: Mossyrock Comes Up Short

Mossyrock lost against Napavine back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mossyrock Vikings had to suffer through a 71-29 loss at the hands of the Napavine Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Tigers are ranked 91st).

Mossyrock is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. As for Napavine, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mossyrock will host Adna at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Napavine, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Klahowya at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Napavine's favor as the squad sits on 13 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Klahowya has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
